A child-friendly breakfast for babies from about 10 months: wheat bread strips with cream cheese and halved blueberries. Easy to prepare, good for fostering independence in eating.
Best prepared fresh. Leftovers (without the berry topping) in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours; top the bread only shortly before serving, as the berries would otherwise soften.
Contains milk (cream cheese) and gluten (wheat bread). Be aware of known food allergies. Halve blueberries, cut the bread to age-appropriate sizes. Never leave the child unsupervised while eating; give small amounts at first and watch for intolerance reactions.
